Return Procedure
Cardiac Science will pay for the return of product if Cardiac Science makes a shipment error or if the product is defective within the first 30 days. To obtain a Return to Manufacturer Authorization (RMA) number for a defective unit, contact Customer Service at 1-888-466-8686. Product must include the RMA on the outside of the container and you will be provided the ship to address when you request the RMA number.
Technical Support
After purchase support is available and there is no charge to the customer for contacting us. Cardiac Science Technical Support can be reached at 800-991-5465 or 425-402-2690.
Service/Loaner
Certified personnel at Cardiac Science's manufacturing facility, perform all service/warranty service. In the event the unit must be sent to Cardiac Science for service, a loaner device will be provided (at the customer's request). Loaner equipment is provided at no charge to the customer during the warranty period. The customer is responsible for all loaner shipping charges.
Cardiac Science will pay shipping costs for defective equipment within the first 30 days of ownership provided proper usage and maintenance procedures have been followed as prescribed in the Operation and Service Manual. Diagnosis of operation failure may be determined by telephone and connection of the AED to a Personal Computer through the use of RescueLink software.
ALL OTHER PRODUCTS
Any product can be returned (excluding food and water* items) if the return product is returned:
- Within 30 days from the date the product was received In good condition and show no signs of damage.
- If the product was damaged in original shipment or there is a defect in the craftsmanship or construction, we will refund the total cost of the product including return shipping.
If you ordered the wrong product or just want to return the product (within 30 days of receipt of order), we do not pay for the initial shipping and handling cost or the cost of shipping to return the product and there is a 20% restocking fee. We will however arrange for the product to be picked up and the freight charges will be deducted from your refund. All refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Credit card charges must be credited to the card originally charged. Cancellations must be received before the order is processed. AED Cardio Alert disclaims responsibility of damage or defective claims after ten (10) days of receipt of products - open packages and inspect them upon receipt. Please repack return items in original packaging (include the Packing Slip or Sales Receipt) and ship all returns to the following address:

If you do not have your Packing Slip or Sales Receipt, please include the following with your returned merchandise:

- The first and last name used to place the order
- The order number found in the right top corner of your Packing Slip or Sales Receipt
- Your phone number to contact you for any necessary additional information
- Reason for the exchange or return
*The retail cost of the food and water will be deducted from the refund when items containing food and water items are returned
